JOSEPH’S PERSPECTIVE

MATTHEW 1:18-25 | DANE JUSTIS | CONROE CAMPUS

In this week’s message, we explore the miraculous birth of Jesus through Joseph’s perspective in Matthew 1:18-25. Joseph’s story is one of faith, obedience, and trust in God’s plan—even when it defied logic. His journey reminds us how God can use the extraordinary to accomplish His purposes, and how faith grows when we take Him at His Word.

As part of our "Christmas Perspectives" series, we’ve seen how the wise men pursued truth, worshiped sincerely, and obeyed courageously. We’ve also learned from the shepherds that God often works in unexpected ways for His glory and our good. This week, Joseph teaches us how faith is built step by step:

  1. Faith requires obedience to God’s Word, even when it challenges us.

  2. God strengthens our faith through miraculous signs and His unchanging promises.

  3. Trusting God connects us to His heart, His redemptive plan, and His hope.

Joseph’s faith moved him from skepticism to unwavering belief. He obeyed God, accepted His plan, and played a pivotal role in the story of salvation. His example challenges us to trust God fully, live in obedience, and embrace our part in His greater story.
