Staying Loyal To God When You Feel Under Attack

In tough seasons of life, we often ask “God, why am I going through this?!”

In his letter, Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ and writer of the New Testament, addresses that sometimes when life is difficult it is because we are engaged in a spiritual battle, under attack by the enemy. But as Christians we have hope and can fight back because of the victory Jesus won.

Looking at 1 Thessalonians 2:13-20, Pastor Dane outlines from our text that in spiritual warfare:

  • We Must Engage With God’s WordReceive, believe, activate and learn it.

  • We Must Count The Cost of DiscipleshipKnow the benefits outweigh the costs

  • We Must Trust That God Is In ControlHis ways are better, higher, and stronger.
